In his work with Common Interest Realty Associations, Scott has written several articles pertaining to the tax and accounting issues of Community Associations.

Leading Riley and Company, Inc.'s litigation support division, Scott Miller also manages several community association and other non-profit organization audits and tax filings. Scott is a 1985 graduate of East Stroudsburg High School and a 1988 graduate of East Stroudsburg University, where he earned a B. S. in Business Management and a B. A. in Economics. The AICPA has certified Scott in Financial Forensics and as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified Valuation Analyst. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts are among the organizations he belongs to.

Scott has authored multiple articles about the accounting and tax concerns facing community associations as part of his work with Common Interest Realty Associations. These pieces have appeared in several local publications in addition to national industry magazines like Common Ground and CAI's Ledger Quarterly. In addition to frequently lecturing before numerous groups and events locally, he has delivered a presentation at the Community Association Institutes (CAI) National Conventions twice. In addition, he has given fraud prevention courses to groups including the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem, the Monroe County Bar Association, and other organizations. He has also been asked to appear as an expert witness in a number of criminal and civil prosecutions. Scott's areas of expertise are business valuations and forensic accounting.
